I. Core Definition and Structure
It is an oil-free, air-insulated, integrated distribution transformer. The high-voltage side houses a load switch (typically T-type / V-type) + fuse combination, replacing the traditional independent high-voltage cabinet. The structure is compact and safe with fire prevention capabilities.
1. Dry-type transformer body
Core: High-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets, fully staggered seams, low loss.
Winding: High-voltage / Low-voltage windings, epoxy resin casting or impregnation insulation, F-class / H-class heat resistance, flame-retardant and self-extinguishing.
Cooling: Natural air cooling (AN) or forced air cooling (AF), suitable for indoor and outdoor installation.
2. High-voltage load switch unit (core difference component)
Function: In normal operation, it connects / disconnect under load (rated 200A/600A), providing a clear disconnect point during maintenance to ensure safety.
Type: Common T-type (ring network) / V-type (terminal), two-position / four-position, manual / electric operation.
Protection coordination: Series-limiting fuse (short-circuit protection, milliseconds of melting), fuse with striker, after melting, the load switch trips to isolate the fault and protect the transformer.
3. Integrated overall structure
Fully insulated, fully enclosed cabinet, protection class IP20/IP23, dustproof and moisture-proof, maintenance-free.
High-voltage cable plug can be plugged and unplugged under load, compatible with ring network "one inlet two outlets" or terminal "one inlet one outlet" wiring.
II. Working Principle
Voltage transformation: Based on electromagnetic induction, 10kV high voltage is coupled through the winding, reduced to 0.4kV for low-voltage loads.
Load control: During normal operation, the load switch is closed, allowing for load connection / disconnection (such as switching circuits, power-off maintenance).
Fault protection: In the event of a short circuit, the fuse melts quickly, triggering the load switch to trip, isolating the fault and protecting the transformer.
Ring network power supply: T-type switch supports "hand-in-hand" ring network, enabling rapid power switching in case of faults, improving power supply reliability.
