Let's get to know the voltage-regulating and capacity-adjusting transformer together!
The variable-capacity and variable-voltage transformer is a special type of Power Transformer. It can automatically or manually adjust its capacity and voltage according to the changes in the load, thereby improving energy utilization efficiency and power supply quality.
Variable-capacity principle: The variable-capacity transformer has two capacities. It can switch between these capacities based on the load size. The capacity adjustment of The Transformer is mainly achieved by changing the tap position of the tap-changing winding through the tap-changing switch. Specifically, the low-voltage winding of the transformer consists of a few turns segment I and a majority of turns segment 1III. The three-phase windings of the transformer are connected in a triangle when in a large capacity state and in a star configuration when in a small capacity state. When in a large capacity state, segments II and III are connected in parallel and then in series with segment I. When in a small capacity state, all segments I are connected in series.
Voltage regulation principle: The principle of the voltage regulation transformer is to utilize the voltage transformation principle of the transformer to convert the high-voltage power supply into a low-voltage power supply to meet the working requirements of electrical appliances. The voltage regulation device consists of voltage detection, voltage comparison, voltage control, and voltage adjustment. When the voltage exceeds the set range, the voltage detection will send a signal to the voltage comparison, the voltage comparison will send a signal to the voltage control, the voltage control will send a signal to the voltage adjustment, the voltage adjustment will send a signal to the control circuit, the control circuit will send a signal to the control power supply, the control power supply will send a signal to the control element, the control element will send a signal to the transformer, and the transformer will convert the high-voltage power supply into a low-voltage power supply to regulate the voltage, keeping the voltage within a certain range to ensure the normal operation of the electrical appliances.
