Dyn11 and High Voltage 500kVA Flame-Retardant Transformer
I. Dyn11 Connection Group
Meaning: "D" indicates that the high-voltage side winding is connected in a delta (Δ) configuration, "y" indicates that the low-voltage side winding is connected in a star (Y) configuration, "n" indicates that the neutral point of the low-voltage side is led out and grounded, and "11" indicates that the phase of the low-voltage side line voltage leads the corresponding line voltage of the high-voltage side by 30° (at the 11 o'clock position on the clock).
Characteristics: This connection can effectively suppress third harmonic, and the output voltage waveform is more stable. The grounding of the neutral point on the low-voltage side can provide a single-phase 220V power supply. It is widely used in power distribution systems, especially suitable for scenarios requiring three-phase four-wire power supply (such as industrial and commercial power distribution).
II. High Voltage, 500 kVA, Flame Retardant Properties
High Voltage: Generally refers to the rated voltage of the high-voltage side being 10kV or above (such as 10kV, 35kV, etc.), suitable for medium and high-voltage power distribution networks, capable of converting high-voltage electricity into low voltage (such as 0.4kV) for use by terminal equipment.
500 kVA (kilo-volt-ampere): The rated capacity of the transformer, representing the apparent power it can output continuously at the rated voltage, can meet the power demands of small and medium-sized factories, large buildings, or regional power distribution.
Flame Retardant Properties: By using flame-retardant insulating materials (such as flame-retardant transformer oil, flame-retardant resins, etc.) and fire-resistant structural design (such as sealed oil tanks, flame-retardant casings), it can inhibit the spread of flames, slow down the burning speed, and reduce fire risks, especially suitable for places with high fire resistance requirements (such as high-rise buildings, chemical industrial parks). Summary
The high-voltage 500kVA flame-retardant transformer with Dyn11 connection features flexible voltage conversion, strong harmonic suppression capability, suitable capacity for small and medium-sized power distribution scenarios, and high safety (flame retardancy). It is suitable for medium and high-voltage power distribution systems with high requirements for power quality and fire safety.
