The design and manufacture of the three-phase American-style box transformer comply with all applicable IEC, ANSI and DOE 2016 standards. All the transformers are of oil-immersed type, with a temperature rise of 65℃, and are designed in accordance with IEC standards, suitable for normal service conditions. The selectable rated capacity ranges from 30 to 3000 kVA, with the main voltage ranging from 2.4 to 35 kV (150 kV BIL), and the secondary voltage can reach up to 600 volts at its maximum. Provide all standard wiring configurations: most combinations of dual voltages, only tapped dual voltages (connected in series), and in most designs, impedance and loss options are also provided.
The three-phase American-style transformer originated from the underground power distribution system in North America. It is an outdoor integrated set of power distribution equipment that integrates high-voltage switches, protective fuses, three-phase oil-immersed transformers, and low-voltage distribution units. Its core feature is that the high-voltage components are immersed in the same oil tank as the transformer.
Core structure (integrated fuel tank, with front and rear divisions.
The entire structure is divided into two main areas: the front operation cabinet and the rear main fuel tank. It adopts a fully sealed fuel tank design without oil sumps (leaving an air gap to compensate for thermal expansion and contraction).
1. The rear main fuel tank (core oil-immersed area).
The three-phase transformer core windings, three-phase high-voltage load switches, plug-in main fuses, backup current-limiting fuses, no-load tap changers, and oil-immersed lightning arresters are all immersed in the insulating oil. The insulating oil performs both cooling and insulation functions simultaneously; the outer side of the tank is equipped with a corrugated heat sink for direct external heat dissipation, without any additional fans.
2. The front section is for remote operation (dry operation area).

Insulation oil: Mineral paraffin-based oil, environmentally friendly natural ester oil, flame-retardant silicone oil (for fire protection in photovoltaic/wind power scenarios);
Temperature rise standard: Average winding temperature rise 65K, in line with ANSI C57.12, GB/T1094, JB/T10217.
4. Power Supply Mode
Terminal type: Single high-voltage incoming line, single transformer at the end of the power supply line;
Ring network type: Two high-voltage cables incoming and outgoing, can be connected in series for networking, and a single line failure will not affect the power supply of the entire line.

Compact size, low footprint: With the same capacity, it is only 1/3 to 1/5 of the European box-type transformer. Concrete foundations can be directly placed in green belts, road corners, and photovoltaic factory areas, eliminating the need for a separate civil construction power distribution room;

Factory pre-installation complete: All wiring, withstand voltage, and protection tests are completed at the factory. Only the high and low voltage cables need to be connected on-site, and it can be put into operation within one day;
Compatible with underground cable distribution networks: High-voltage uses plug-in type cable terminals, perfectly matching the underground cable networks in European cities;
Lower cost: High-level integration of components, significant reduction in cabinet and switch cabinet consumables, and the procurement cost is lower than that of European transformers.
